30-year-old Damascus man accused of abusing teen

30-year-old Jacob Harms of Damascus is being held on $1.7 million bail in Clackamas County Jail and facing 26 counts of sex abuse of a 16-year-old girl.

From the sheriff's office:

On October 9th, 2013, detectives from the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office arrested 30 year old Jacob Wayne Harms of Damascus, OR on 26 counts of Unlawful Sexual Penetration II, Sex Abuse III, Sodomy III, Encouraging Child Sex Abuse I, and Using a Child in Sex Display.  He was lodged at the Clackamas County Jail, and is currently being held on $1,735,000 bail.

The crimes are alleged to have occurred over a two year period, during which time Jacob Harms was renting a room in the home where the 16 year old female victim was also living. There is no familial relation.

Based on pictures of other juvenile females located by investigators while serving a search warrant at Jacob Harms' residence, it is believed there may be other victims.
