The Hillsboro Hops Fund will host an inaugural benefit on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at the Tuality Health Education Center. The event will begin at 5:30pm with a cocktail hour and silent auction. The dinner and program will begin at 7:00pm and will feature the 2014 Hops Coaching Staff including: Manager J.R. House, Pitching Coach Doug Drabek, Hitting Coach Mark Grace, and Consultant Ben Petrick.

The purpose of the Hillsboro Hops Fund is to develop and establish a community benefits program, the purpose of which is to promote, foster and support education, health, culture and youth activities, including activities for underprivileged youth, in the Greater Hillsboro area.

Funds raised will be used to refurbish youth baseball fields in the Greater Hillsboro area over the coming years. The Hops are currently focused on fundraising for the first project that will refurbish a Hillsboro baseball field with synthetic turf allowing for year-round use for the youth of Washington County.
